ZIP Training
The management and supervision at Troy Construction believe that the ability to work safely starts with an individual's behavior regarding their personal safety. To this end, we have implemented a cognitive-based approach towards safety that focuses on the individual's values and attitude regarding safety.
Troy's Zero Incident Process (ZIP) was implemented in 2008 and its central focus is the strong belief that safety values should include safety of self, safety of family and safety of co-workers. This process is an ongoing element of Troy's core culture and has positively impacted our company by reducing incidents, especially those incidents due to complacency regarding the dangerous task we do on a daily basis.
The next time you talk to a Troy employee, ask them about Green Frame 5's, Gorillas and ZIP and see if it doesn't change the way you look at safety.
